Progress report on my new Bell Boucher

Well I have it finished and strung. It's a thing of beauty. Mr Bell has produced a very fine instrument.
I did a set up based on advice given me by Tom . I set up the little reference dots according to a fret calculator then moved the bridge from its 27" home position to 26 -3/8". Then I calculated the difference in fret placement. (Like my other fretted banjo)

I discovered that if I placed my fingers just behind the dots...(like I do with my fretted banjo) I am on the note (according to my electronic tuner. So I am having very good results.

Now...if I can get my playing skills up to the quality of Mr. Bells woodworking skills I will be in great shape.
