I don't know if anybody here is house-hunting at present, but if you are, the house on Manhatten Island that Frank and Harriet Converse used to live in is for sale.
Ian, I'm going to be a "lecturer" at our upcoming shindig and my topic will be "The Life and Times of Frank B. Converse." As such, I've been immersing myself in all things FBC.
I'm sure no one connected with the house knows or cares about our boy. If anything, his wife Harriet would probably provoke more interest to someone interested the house's history. She was the author of "Myths and Legends of the New York State Iroquios" and a tireless advocate on behalf of Native American rights. Their house was always open to Indians who need help.
