Harper's Ferry Dance (12/5/09: 3-5pm)
For anyone who's going to be around Harper's Ferry, WV this coming weekend, Chuck Krepley and I will be sitting in with some friends to play for a dance on Saturday (3-5pm) reenacting an 1864 cotillion. The setting is inside a large heated park gala tent opposite the bookshop on the “Green” grassy area in sight of the park shuttles. The group that will be leading the dance is called " The Victorian Dance Ensemble.” http://www.civilwardance.org/schedule.htm
