Gut Strings Diameter

Hi !

I want to try gut strings on my Nate Calkin's Tackhead banjo . 

Nate use  Nylgut  medium Classic .

 

So i search diameter equivalence or traditional diameter for a tackhead banjo .

What  gauge do you use for gut strings ?

I put Bob Flesher's gut set on my own banjo after many customers were requesting them. The 4th is gut and has that low tubby sound which is great. The sustain on my 27.5" scale is 4 - 5 seconds, the low string is even longer at 8 seconds. They feel great, "sturdier" and fatter than Nylguts and most other gut sets.
