Excellent suggestions! You may also wish to consider:

"G. Swain Buckley's Celebrated Minor Jig" and "The Dark Horse Reel"

Although we do have to be realistic about this - you can only get so creepy on a banjo.

Ian,  you're right.........banjo tunes can only be SO creepy.

It's the players...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We did a haunted hike event for the Boy Scouts.  In addition to playing a couple of songs for people, I was playing Swain Buckley's Celebrated Minor Jig, Peanut Girl, Genuine Negro Jig, and the Sprite Polka.  All of these are good minor mode jigs.  For the most part I accompanied songs on bones rather than banjo, it is more in the Halloween mood.

For songs we did Dan Tucker (on banjo), Dem Bones, Down Among the Dead Men, and Anne Boleyn.  Dan Tucker isn't particularly creepy, but it seems to get people's toes tapping.
