I'd been wanting a coffin case for my Noel Booth fretless for a long time. But didn't like the 'generic' fit of those you can buy from the few who make and sell them. And I also really enjoy building projects like this as well as wanting to save money. Thought I'd share some photos here. All movement is eliminated by leather covered blocks at strategic points of contact with the banjo... I'm still awaiting delivery of some aged brass corner straps that will protect the outside edges of the case.
