Buckley's Walk Around Glissando

I am using the weidlich tabs and I'm having a heck of a time getting this right. I listened and rewatched tim's video but I am still at a loss. i know what it is supposed to sound like but no idea how to make it sound that way. Is it just a big slide from 1 to 8/12th frets?

So ive attempted to tab out my own version of this and wanted to confirm that most of those notes are played on the first string in reference to "glissando" from above. I am slightly thrown off by the lack of sharps at the beginning. Does this just mean there are no sharps? I actually stayed up late working with tuxguitar for linux and am impressed with how well it works.
