Okay, we'll see if we got any other southerners that want to partake..
Hello........???????????
Hey dudes, if it's in Michigan, I'll be there. With Danny and Sommer.
Depending on the date, Elaine and I might be willing to drive over.
Keeping my fingers crossed... That work, health or anything else does not get in the way.... UGH!
After attending the NCBG last Sat. I would not miss the next. I am hooked. Great time. Great people. Thanks Terry.
John,
What might be some good dates for you and Elaine circa February/March?
I will try and get in touch with Brian J. once things calm down this week (came back from the gathering to chaos) and see what his thoughts/interests in doing a southern MI gathering will be...he supposedly has another bones player that lives near him as well. Also, we can do something informal at Tim's shop just among ourselves or if we want to do something more formal (combination short talks and jamming) through/for the university here Mike knows the professors to talk to about using classrooms/performance space on campus...and if we have enough time to advertise the event, might be able to draw some interested students from both EMU and UM. So we have options depending on what kind of vibe we're feeling collectively...personally I am game for either.

Set a date and place, I'll be there...
Adam, count me in for anything you can get going at the university.
Well, I'd have to see roughly how many people would be interested and when we'd want to do this. Then I can talk with some of my professors, but I'm sure that it wouldn't be difficult at all for us to either get a classroom or the auditorium for a day.
They'll have to give us the building. It is the fate...the destiny....of Classical guitar players, to give themselves to the fretless banjo. They must face the future!!
