This was one of the highlights of the weekend for me.  The harmony on top of the banjo, bones, fiddle and jawbone is what really brings this music to life.  I hope we see more numbers like this in the future.  (Personal goal for me for AEBG VI: be able to sing and play something at the same time in front of an audience.)

We actually took the written harmonies from the Ethiopian Glee Book and talked about them ahead of time online. It made putting it together go a little quicker. I sure enjoyed that aspect of the music....4 parts...a dimension we don't usually get to work with.

Right on, Andy, hearing it in this context really makes you understand what was cranking everybody's tractor back in 1842!

I wondered how that came together so well in such short time.....and I didn't hear any rehearsing.

Cory, the stereoscope photo I took of you and Carl worked fairly well if I tilt it slightly.

I need to figure out the secret of positioning.  If you have Microsoft Publisher and a stereoscope, let me know and I can send you the photo(s).

I have Photoshop and a stereoscope, I'd love to take a stab at it!

I made a template program in Publisher but I'll bet you can probably do so in PhotoShop, as well.

I can send you the photos, along with a few others from the Pry house to try.  I really only got one of people playing as I didn't want to bother them with standing perfectly still while I took two photos.

I'd be glad to do more next year if anyone wanted them.

Andy, it might be best to send them to your regular email address if you want to pass it along.

Mine is <alsmitley@gmail.com>
