Serious gut and fretless healing going on here. Don't miss it if you walk on this planet and love this old music.

I'm bummed to miss this, it sounds like a great way to spend a weekend. But I am going to be a prisoner for the month of June. A wedding, 2 graduations, and a family reunion. I won't even be able to salvage Father's Day this year.  And they are trying to make me go to the Bridal Shower! Is nothing sacred? At least there should be some banjos at the family reunion!

dumb question: where is "the barn", i'm moving up to new hampshire in June and depending on where this "the barn" is, as well as how well my moving is going, i may or may not show up.

If I can make it, I promise not to bring the kontrabass balalaika.  Gotta change that silly avatar...  I think it was my idea of an appropriate counterbalance to some slightly compulsive reenactorwear I saw at the previous three AEBGs.  (In what passes for real life, I dress for comfort, and play American stuff.)

Can't go...wish I could. Gonna miss y'all!

Not a dumb question, Evan. "The Barn" is part of the Pry House Museum on the Antietam National Battlefield, near Sharpsburg, MD. Really a barn...see the pic above. Mostly original too...was a field hospital during the battle, etc.

Sounds like a load of fun, too bad I'm in Portland, Oregon.

I'm gettin' a little giddy just thinkin' about it.  I remember that girl sitting behind James Hartel.  She brought her fiddle.  Saturday evening she sat down beside me to play some music.  "What shall we play?" asked I.  "How about "Rocky Top?" said she.  And you know what?  We played Rocky Top.

Looks like a great event but a long commute from AZ

Wish i could come, but NM is far away, and I am doing a banjo history spectacular that night.

Sorry Tim, it sounds a great weekend. But I'm in the UK and a bit far away. "Have a great time" everyone who is going.
