I'd love to look at your pottery, hard for me to get over there though. Do you have a pottery website I could see? Pottery and banjos do seem to go well together- intimate vessels. :)
Thanks its a great trade and I love working with gardeners.. I have been working on the interior of the Issabella Stewart Gardener museum up in Boston this last year .. The year before I had a cool grouping of 13 th century French pots for the Cloisters in NYC .. Those are the orders that are the most fun !

Did you ever think about making a ceramic pot banjo? I've seen thrown pot drums. And of course gourd banjos are somewhat fragile.
