Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

From Frank Converse's "The Banjo and How to Play It", 1872. Played about 5-10 BPM faster than my ability, but this is a hard tune to slow down once it gets under your skin. Need to keep that 2nd string from ringing in the A part.

Great job Andy!  I always get hung up on the B part, so I hesitate to play this piece.  Yours sounds really smooth!  And nice summer duds!

Thanks! That pull-off grace note in the B part is still giving me a little trouble, but it really adds a lot. The new hat was a gift from a friend, I had to show it in action!
