This gourd banjo has 5 strings, pine neck, ebony tuning pegs, goat skin head, brass tacks, ebony tailpiece, poplar bridge, and a bolted on dowel. Mostly hand made. Playing is a little hard but I still really like it.

Are you having trouble with the fifth string?? If so, you might run the fifth string under the tuner instead of over the top (this sounds like the toilet paper argument lol). It would bring the string a little closer to the fourth and make the spacing a little more even...
