Yes, welcome, Rhiannon. Good to have someone of your talents here. If you have any questions, ask away - lots of knowledgeable folk here, and good players too.
Got the Far Side Reel uploaded. It's not a real dark scan, but I think it's readable. My wife has a better scanner at work, she'll scan it tommorow and I'll put up a hopefully more readable version.
thanks for the greeting... not "touched" by the minstrel sound as yet, but curious about some of the notated syncopation found in the repertoire. Just getting back into town. Been sharing the banjo's sound with friends down in LA. It was a wonderful experience. I'll keep in touch. - Guy
It was only after years of playing the banjo and searching for the "pure" roots of old time music that I finally figured out that--like everything else American--its utter lack of purity was the source of its vitality and mysterious beauty.
Rhiannon - Wow!!! You guys really put on a wonderful show last night at The Egg! Briggs' Corn Shucking Jig and Camptown Hornpipe never sounded so good, and the dueling bones of Hubby and Dom really added to the magic. Looking forward to your upcoming CD!

Hello Rhiannon. I'm a big fan.
And I really enjoy the clip of you and your gourd banjo. You have a nice touch.
Welcome from a fan!
Yeah, sure, give me a day or so to find it and kindly ask my wife to upload it for me.
I'm a pencil and paper kind of guy. Not too good with scanners and stuff.
