Ian--

I just happen to own one of these babies.  When set up with gut strings they are great for either "guitar" or "banjo" style.  They were made at the Buckbee factory and their contruction is virtually identical to the Dobson banjos made at the same factory.  The only real differences are the distinctive Morrison pearlwork and the brass plate on the Dobsons.  Also I love your recollections of your favorite performance venues and experiences.  Sometimes I think we all tend to fixate on freezing weather, mud, and driving horizontal rain.

Do you have that at the barn last year? I really like the inlay work. They look like hex signs on an old barn.
