Welcome to the site Nancy. Great folks and great info to be found here.
Thank you! I am looking forward to learning more about this style - I've been more of a traditional clawhammer player. I play old time, traditional, contra and (believe it or not) English Country on banjo. I also play record and had percussion in several bands. I have a friend who performs Civil War ballads and songs and I'd like to learn more traditional approaches.
