Thanks!  I found her in a second hand music store for half of what she's worth.  The case has stenciled on it "Burke's Jazz Imps.  Inside the resonator, the original owner carved his name and the year he "bought this iron" 1926.  The serial number seems verify his claim.  Very few in tact early tenor Vega banjos.  Most were converted to 5 string.
