This is the cover of a little 1905 song book I found among my family's old books.  One of the songs it contains is "Dixie's Land" (also scanned and posted).

I can't figure out what that thing is in the upper right corner.  Is that a spinning wheel?

Yes it's a wheel set up for spinning flax. A useful symbol for quaint things from "way back when..." even in 1905.

Hey, that's so well done, the "Minstrel Memories" font looks better than the original!
