Lordy mamma, Silas, this thing has tone!! I hate to tease you, but I'll tease you. These gut strings of Bob Flesher's are wonderful. But on this banjo they're even better, it's the OLD sound with that little bit of +ding+ from the rear skin. The big ole oak rim is closer to 13 than 12. It FEELS great too. Well, I'm done playing with it Silas, it's yours now.
