I love this pic. I know of Jessie Bond via one of my favorite movies, Topsy-Turvy, which depicts the creation and peformance of Gilbert and Sullivan's The Mikado, as I imagine you know. Seeing this for the first time last week incited a long response that I decided not to post because it seemed like armchair ideology criticism that should be better researched and thought out--but I thank you for posting this. Was your posting it part of a discussion? If so, I'd love directions to it.
