Nice banjos Jay. Do they have adopted homes yet? The one one on the left is just a classic look. There is a photo on ebay right now of a pinic in Ohio, and there is a banjo in the picture...quite similar.

thanks tim and ian. the darker one is cherry with an ebony tailpiece, and the brownish one is white oak with a birdseye talpiece. both have steel hardware and maple pots. they are both spoken for, which is bitter sweet, as i've grown quite enamored of the black one.
