I arranged to meet with my friend to play, he's from Ohio, and I'm from Oklahoma, we zeroed in on Springfield and a good meeting place.  It turned out great.

I am considering doing that, and I have heard it's going to be a really big affair.  Steve Ball Sold me one of his pre 1860 Martin's as I am more a guitar player.

We were asked to give the park service our names and contact because they wanted us to come back in an arranged performance.  So I guess we did ok.  I wasn't sure if I should have worn the confederate uniform, but though it might be fun instead of us both as Yankees.

well actually Dan'l that was what I was going for, I even took off my 1st. sgt. Stripes to give that appearance, but as soon as the NPS guy was me he said looks like we have one confederate and one federal.
