from lumber to finished neck part 1: neck drawn out, fret markers sawn, nut slot cut. starts with a blank from a well-known baseball bat manufacturer that i work with.
Nut slot cut cut at this early stage - when things are still square! - brilliant!
OK - it makes so much sense it's probably the standard way of doing it - but I hadn't thought of it.
