Thanks, Chris.  Pete is great to work with. We spent several months collaborating on the design. Inspiration for the fifth string treatment was taken from the whalebone banjo pictured in the book "America's Instrument: The Banjo in the Nineteenth Century". This is the first time Pete has used that design and it worked out very well. I am extremely pleased with the quality of his work and the tone and playability of the banjo. Pete is a true craftsman.

It's a beauty Jim.  I got to see that 'whalebone banjo' in person at the whaling museum of New Bedford MA.  It's awesome all right.  I hope you will post some good pix soon of your new banjer!
