Gourd Banjos 11 & 12

Two smaller gourds at 24" scale. Necks are made of some funky poplar I found that had black and green streaks throughout. I ended up using the same poplar for the bridges, really made them ring nicely. They sound lovely and are fun to play.

Your "gourds" are looking great! Where have you been acquiring your wood? Locally? Are you growing the gourds? Man, you are cranking them out and again, they look awesome. Do you plan on selling any?

Thanks Sonny! Wood I been getting from Home Depot, Rockler and a local lumber shop. Gourds I get from wurtz farm in AZ.

I have an Etsy shop and sold two last month! I am also mid way two other five stringers that should be nice. I will be loading up the Etsy shop once I have those two completed.
