For enthusiasts of early banjo

Lo-tech capo for the gut-strung guitar. Not much to it -Piece of mahogany left over from two banjos ago, orphan fiddle peg, leftover end of a gut bass banjo string. Took about 20 minutes and seems to work. Not the fastest capo I ever slapped on, mind you. I think the trick might be to keep it on the neck beyond the nut when not in use.

That was Haynes.

Thanks, Joel. The one in the catalogue looks just like one somebody gave me years ago (like all capos, long-since lost) that was described to me as a "flamenco capo". I only had steel-string guitars so it wasn't much use to me at the the time.
