Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

I was looking through old books for a tune for Tim and found this. It's a book of 19th century 2nd fiddle parts I found at a fleamarket near Wiarton, Ontario. It's missing its cover so I don't know what it is or where it's from. I'm guessing American and (because of inclusion of tunes from HMS Pinafore) 1880s. I think it was intended for use by a small quadrille band. The usual mix of jigs, reels, hornpipes, polkas, clogs, galops and quadrilles. Check the very cool replacement cover in the accompanying photo.
