I got a Boucher that he had made for himself and got a good deal on the price. I was chicken and got flush-fret and upgraded tuners.

Listening to sound clips of Eric's tension heads, I thought they sounded a lot like an ordinary open back which I have two of so I don't know about the tension head. I'll have to hear some more. My main goal right now is learning how to tune these things -don't understand this "high" and "low" stuff yet I have a book coming from Bob Flesher that should help. Why haven't I heard of him? He's a fantastic player and builder.
