Tutors...One More Time

That last thread went crazy. It certainly gave me cause to rethink it all, which is of course, a good thing.

I'll just summarize

• I play the music in the Early Banjo books
• I follow the instructions on how to do it
• I like it

I guess those are my only definitive conclusions. That's good enough for me.

Hey, I'm all for the tutors. And I'm all for fiddler Kevin Burke's advice to "..not push the music, let it happen." Folks who buy my banjos for clawhammer playing are missing out on so much by not playing the stroke stuff. Thumb and finger with all of the beautiful open spaces that Eric Clapton and Count Basie talk about.
