Hi to all my Minstrel friends,

I hope that John and Tim don't mind this blatant plug ;-)

I have just launched a new "TIME MACHINE" on the classic banjo ning site and this contains a vast number of historic photos, many of Minstrel troups, blackface and whiteface even UK Pierrot Minstrel troupes from the 19th Century. There are too many to list, so please pop over and have a browse. I have cut and pasted the announcement I made to the CB ning members:

BANJO MUSIC SCORES LIBRARY 

 This now contains over 500 banjo scores, many with full piano and second banjo parts. We are currently adding audio and video files which can be played along with the scores too!

This is a slide viewer containing over 1000 historic banjo related photographs. The pictures date back to the earliest available photographs of the mid 1800s and show from the early Minstrel period right through to today.
