Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

Here's a tune from the pen of Ed Hulse, published in Dobson's "The National Banjo Method" in 1886. IIRC, the composer was a well known minstrel. He lived in Buffalo, NY, born 1860, died 1920.

Attached is "Epsilon Quickstep" dots in A Notation (4th to B) and Tab. I hope you enjoy.

Errata: m25 should show C-naturals wherever they occur. The original only shows it on the bottom of the first chord in the measure. This would be a 1st fret, 1st string in the Tab.

I'll post a correction tonight.
