Building an Ashborn replica

So, An Ashborn replica is on my building horizon and i need lots of input into the construction. Any and all suggestions would be welcomed and as a starter i have these: the neck material? Is there an added fingerboard? The pots i saw this weekend appear to be maple. Were these veneered as well?? I will start my study of ashborns on the sightings database and with the photos i took this weekend but wanted to get this thread going asap to start the ball rolling. Bring it on folks!!
