Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

The book is now ready in download form. Over 100 songs, many you've heard, and many you have not. The tab is clean and well sized and true to the original. There are enough fingerings to help you, but not too many that will clutter the page and hider your exploration.

"This book contains music that crosses over from the old Stroke Style into what would be considered a more refined Guitar Style. There are jigs, hornpipes, reels, mazurkas, quicksteps, schottisches, polkas, songs, and many originals by the Buckleys. Players will find some of the most memorable, beautiful, and playful melodies in the repertoire."

This book is great, especially for someone like me who can read music painfully, but can read tab with ease. In conjunction with Tim's recordings, this is a fantastic resource! This book should get more and more folks playing Buckley. And check out the price - it's a steal! Thanks Tim!

The Buckley 1868 is in print and ready to go next week. The 100+ page book will be $15.00 with free shipping. Beautiful stuff for all levels of playing. Watch for a link in a day or so. Download it yourself for $8.50 with above link.
