1piece boucher style neck

What size neck blank would I need, thick x width x length, to knock down or begin with for a Boucher style neck blank.  Going to go with a solid piece of African Padauk, naturally VERY RED, the most stable genus of wood known, and at sametime an incredible, but not well known, tonewood.  I can make boards "Sing"..  New member Michael at tymburrs(from banjo hg.out) or www.timbersoftheworld.com   Dang I wanna do this in this wood...  Thank you Minstrals!!
