It's that time of year again. Official Opening Day is already past but the Tigers (and Carl's beloved Royals) open today. This is a parody to "Invalid Corps", 1863, which I became familiar with in 1972, when given an album containing this recording.

That's great, Al! I played a lot of organized baseball in my younger days, but I can't see fielding a hot ground ball without a glove. How many ex-rugby guys play that sport? Ha ha....cool video!

Mostly it's people who have become fed up with the team-to-team friction of softball.

We play to win but we cheer good plays by the opposing fielders, etc.  A more congenial game.
