Thanks for posting this Terry.  I only knew it as Old Molly Hare.

I always enjoy your clips, Paul. Very musical and clean.

Thanks for posting that Terry. I saw the Cunningham Bros. a few times when they were in Canada for festivals. They were always so good they were scary. Fiddle player Johnny died a few years ago but Phil is still active and has made some great recordings with fissler Aly Bain.

Aly's actually a "fiddler". (He may be a fissler too!)

Especially if he can fiddle and whistle at the same time...

I once had Aly Bain's and Dave Richardson's lives in my hands when I gave them a ride to a Boys of the Lough concert they were playing.

Al, that's pretty cool. My brother's claim to fame is that he went to the bathroom with Cathal. I saw Aly and Phil and NEVER laughed so hard. It hurt. I wanted Phil to stop with the jokes it hurt so bad.

I agree.  I've seen them a couple times at the Ark in Ann Arbor.  Once you begin to understand Phil's accent, they are VERY entertaining from their music, to Phil's stories, to Aly rolling his eyes!

This thread has reminded me to keep an eye out in case they return to the Ark!

Yup, the Ark. Remember the first joke? A Scotsman invented the toilet seat, but a Shetland Islander put the hole in it.
