Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

Several years ago I downloaded and printed this page from SOMEWHERE. Now I want to know its provenance and can't figure out which book it's from. (I've checked out all the usual suspects) Does this look familiar to anyone? All suggestions gratefully received. Thanks!

Sorry Ian.  I have lots of old tune books printed out and pdfs saved and thought I might be able to help but, alas, failed!

Thanks for giving it a shot. I'm still looking around on the Internet Archive.

Bless yer heart, Joel - I had a feeling you'd be able to spot that! Thanks.
A fiddler colleague and I just recorded a CD of wild and crooked traditional Metis fiddle tunes we learned from an old (now deceased) player in Manitoba. One of the tunes was a mutation of the "Minor Reel". I've always known this tune as "The Jolly Drummer Boy". I think it's also part of the fife & drum repertoire as well.
