Sounds like a plan.  I live about a 5 minute drive from Look Park; even have a pass.  See you in October.  I hope I have the kit built by then.

Hi Lee, if you are interested in guitar style banjo I can recommend the Jennings' book here...

It has easy pieces that are interesting to play.  He also shows you alternate fingering (pay attention to that, it is worth it).  If you are interested at all in Ragtime (but want to read in "A") check out the A. J. Weidt series available from my website (Weidt also teaches alternate fingering with some good exercises).
