Another beauty. Interesting tail-piece. Why not leather?

Thanks, Paul. In order to get two separate heads and enough space between the two (purely aesthetic), I had to cut the gourd in such a way that left the tailpiece side a little too straight up and down, i.e., not as strong as it could be. It's just a weirdly shaped gourd. Too much strain from a tied-on or leather tailpiece could have buckled it a bit. A thin, cantilevered tailpiece relieves all of that strain.
