Great to see you, too!  What a weekend!!  When I hear that car horn, will I be in the middle of a crosswalk?

Michael, you said that your two worlds (minstrel banjo and brass band) collide.

I wonder if you are similar to me in that I enjoy playing tunes on the banjo which are normally associated with period brass bands, though I don't play a brass band instrument.  Here are some of the tunes I play on the banjo....

Easter Galop/Railsplitter's Polka/National Schottische/Jenny Lind Polka/Holiday Schottische/Detroit Schottische/Flying Cloud Schottische/Rainbow Schottische/Prima Dona Waltz/Philadelphia Fireman's Cotillion/Last Rose of Summer/Listen to the Mockingbird/Steamboat Waltz/Rochester Schottische/LaCachucha

I haven't played many of the brass band songs we play on the banjo, at least not yet, but I do enjoy Last Rose of Summer and Jenny Lind quite a bit. If you have any of those tunes you mentioned written out I'd love to try them out!
