For enthusiasts of early banjo

I've been spending most of my time sanding (and it's still not perfect) rather than playing. I intended on a burnt orange stain, but it came out really red. I like it. My husband says it matches my personality. Terry gave me the most beautiful maple. This picture doesn't do it justice. Now to put it all together...

I can't wait to see/hear it!   I think that red color really calls out to play Circus Jig on it.    :)
