A popular 19th century minstrel tune. Banjo arrangement more or less from Briggs' 1855 Banjo Instructor. Lyrics somewhat sterilized as I wanted to share it on another site that lacks the built-in context of this one.

Thanks for the links. I did find the mudcat cafe lyrics, but they seemed to be different from the ones that I heard.

Some of the  lyrics of this tune could be considered rather rude. How do you deal with that? Sanitize them? Skip the bad ones? Sing them anyway?
