Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

Kentucky Juba played on a Boucher style banjo made from a kit supplied by Bell & Son Banjos. Sorry there is no video, I can't find my camera! (the banjo is better looking w/o my fingers all over it anyway)

Nice playing. The video in my imagination was great - especially the bit where you jumped into the audience!

Nice playing.  Your timing on posting this is perfect.  I was playing parts of this from memory last night, and missed a number of notes.  I was trying to figure out the name of the piece again.  Thanks Dave!

Thanks. Imagining a banjo player crowd surfing, hmmm. John I was inspired to learn this tune from the videos that Carl, Paul, and Tim put up. Eventually I'd like to learn all of the tunes on the Rounder Minstrel Banjo anthology, they've been going around in my head for years and thankfully through the people and resources here I'm starting to get some of them.
