The two most well known songs of the era were Home Sweet Home and Yankee Doodle. I normally play this stroke style, think I will have to give finger style a try. There are some advantages I am hearing here.

I wonder if this is the other song General Grant was talking about when he said, "I only know two songs, one of them is Yandee Doodle and the other one isn't."
