Thank you Mark! It's a pleasure to play with Gus. He has been playing 6 string guitar for about a month (seriously) but he has played lute, theorbo, and baroque guitar for decades. He is a skilled musician. Gus and I both got "Romantic guitars" close to the same time and together we have been pouring over 19th century guitar treatises to try and figure out "historically informed" styles of playing guitar accompaniment. This was our first little recording. It's a lot of fun!

I believe he's Jared's brother, Jared was at the last AEBG and I think is a member here.

Hi Wes, You are correct.  Gus and Jared Denhard are brothers and Jared plays banjo and is a member here.  However, Gus lives in Seattle and Jared lives in Columbia Maryland so they are not able to see each other much, but now they will be able to play some of these old tunes together!
