Although this song comes from the Buckley Banjo Book of 1860, like many other tunes of this time, its source material is from elsewhere. The song is found as "Kiley's Reel" in Ryan's Mammouth Collection. It is here that we can see the close relationship between 19th Century fiddle tunes and Minstrel Banjo. It was played on a Wunder Boucher, and was a relaxing way to end a nice Christmas Day.
