Hi Grace, and welcome to the site!

Hi Grace, nice to see another female face. I joined a few days ago, I'm an absolute beginner though. There dosn't seem to be many of us girls around, but I like reading the chat and watching the videos. A bit overawed by the brilliant playing. :-)

Hi Grace! It was good to meet you at The Ferry over the weekend. Welcome to the site!

Welcome to the site. I like your profile photo -- could you post a larger version in the "Harpers Ferry" thread? I'm trying to remember who was there, and I think everybody is in your photo except the young lad -- I guess his mom spirited him away before the picture was taken. I don't remember that boy's name, nor that of the lady from Arlington (Vivian?); don't know where Roberta is from, don't know her last name, nor Irving's -- may have everybody else pegged, if not necessarily spelled right.

OK, I'll wait for Melinda, or maybe send her a tickler. Front row is you, Maggie Adams, Roberta ___, Irving ___ from Mount Holly NJ. Second row: Greg Adams, Tim Twiss, Cynthia Connolly, Frank Diebold (DeBow? unsure of the spelling) from Savannah GA, and Chuck Krepley from Waynesboro PA. Back row is Lucas Bowman from Appalachian State in Boonsboro NC, Dave Kirschner from Fallston MD, Richard Greene (face behind Cynthia's banjo) is a librarian at the Smithsonian, and Dick Hulan from Springfield VA.

    Hi Grace,
Harpers Ferry sounded great, don't know if I will ever get to a gathering over there, but I may manage the next one in the UK.

Looking forward to seeing and hearing you on the site.
