GSBCMJ is starting to turn into actual music - Judy sez, "Thanks a lot" - but then goes off to try it on the piano. The mix of stoke and "guitar-style" picking that's on the video seems to be the the way to go with this. Was there a discussion thread a while ago about when guitar-style started to appear on the scene.<br />

I'm working on "G. Swaine Buckley's Celebrated Minor Jig" - The standard notation was...um, challenging, but I'm now little better at reading chords than I was when I started. The T.T. video helped a lot. What a demented tune! Makes me want to go find a tuba player. Does anybody remember Taj Mahal and Howard Johnson's great clawhammer banjo & tuba duet of "Tom & Sally Drake" on some live lp a million yeras ago?

I am interested in stands/period cradles for instruments as well John...mind postin photos of your modest efforts,we have been tryin to fab something from tree limbs that includes portability,and as "non-farby"as possible.thanks in advance.Halisha<br />
