Dyed and Oiled...

One Bell Banjo coming to life in the Minstrel world.   So far she has been sanded, 2 coat of light dye applied, and Boiled Linseed oiled... Next day off... the first of may coat of shellac will be applied.

I like that 'old leather shoe' brown you chose.   :)  Nice to see your own labor results all coming together, huh?

Thanks, Steve and Strumelia... I well say this. Note to self... Wear gloves next time.... It looks like I will have wear shoe leather brown hands for a while.... UGH! Working the next 2 nights. So Thursday and or Friday the Shellacing well start.
