Minstrel Banjo

For enthusiasts of early banjo

How about this one for the Tune Of The Week? People can sing it, or do it as an instrumental. There has never been a definitive version done by anybody.....so nothing can be incorrect. Look up the tune in Levy's http://levysheetmusic.mse.jhu.edu/catalog/levy:020.116

I have a totally simple tab version, if anybody is interested. Most people just sing it and double the melody line...a classic way to play this music.

I'm going to go easy on myself and ask for the tab of this song. As a singer I am going to have to work through what words I can actually handle coming out of my mouth. :) This is a wonderful mental process for me. Thanks Tim!

I'd appreciate receiving the tab too

thank you kindly

Here is a version. You could also easily use high bass.

Tim-

Sorry to be a bother. Is this an image? It's opening in Quicktime, but nothing actually comes up.

It is a TIFF...should open. I'll change it to a JPEG
